My 27th Birthday and 1st Mother's Day

This past weekend was a busy one! Friday night I celebrated my 27th  birthday with the family at Tin Angel on West End, Yum-O, followed by a 2 mile walk (one way) to Pinkberry. Needless to say, I don't think anyone from here on out will take me seriously when I say "Its not too far to walk" , ha ha.

On Saturday my "real Birthday" mom and dad came by to bring my birthday present and drop off.....

wait for it.....

A CLOWN CONE ICE CREAM CAKE! I have and always will be 5 years old at heart and stomach, I will never be too old for Spaghettios or Clown Cones (my personal favorite at Baskin Robbin) and mom had them build a cake around it!

Nolan thought it was pretty cool too!

Then Sunday/Mothers Day I woke up to this very pretty omelet that Will had prepared all on his very own (with a little help from Google). It was very tasty, I may just have to let him cook breakfast more often!

Followed by church and some much needed play time at home.

I was spoiled rotten all weekend....and it was NICE! :)

Can you believe how big my little man is getting!?

Nolan's Nursery

Nolan's Nursery has been a work in progress for about a year, it's been finished twice now...and hopefully for the final time. Right after I got everything in his nursery complete and set up he was born and I was so busy being a new/tired mom/zombie that I never got around to taking pictures. I kicked myself later when I caught the kitchen on fire and after a chain of events his room was back in shambles and needing to be reassembled (I wont go through the details but lets just say Hallelujah its DONE!) As soon as I got things back together this time I took pictures!

So here is is, my favorite room in the house.

Thank you Chris and Jessica for such a great way to remember my first birthday !

These are photos from our showers and signatures of everyone who attended.
This way Nolan will see how much he was loved before he even got here!

3 MONTHS!

Nolan is 3 Months Old!

We are finally back in our house and starting to get back to some normalcy so I am playing catch up with the blog posts.

Little N is now Three Month Old! I cannot believe it (I know I say that every time I post something about him). He LOVES standing & is still not a fan of tummy time, but we do it anyways. He has started to do crunches as we like to call them...if we lay him down on any incline whatsoever he can pull himself to the upright position, scary :). He is really starting to sit up a lot, most of the time he ends up in the pancake position after a few minutes but it wont be long and he will be sitting up with no trouble at all. Right now we have lots of gurgling, cooing, yelling and spit bubbles going on, boy does he love his spit bubbles. He is fascinated with Becks and being outside. Any time he is upset and can't be calmed all it takes is a step out the front door and all his worries are cured (which happens very seldom, we have a pretty happy boy on our hands). Nolan is such a morning person and has really learned to chuckle which is his new favorite thing to do at 5 am. Will and I have already said that we are in for it when baby #2 comes around (hopefully not for a while :P ) because Nolan has been SO EASY that we know we're due a screamer, he is such a good baby!

And the window of opportunity has CLOSED :)

Easter 2011

The Easter Bunny left a Jumparoo, an airplane egg hunting basket and lots of swimwear for this summer at our house.

After Church we went to Will's side of the family's Easter lunch and spent a good amount of time in the storm shelter hiding from tornadoes.

SPOOKY!

I didn't take this picture but this is what decided to show up in Gallatin on Easter Sunday
(I have to admit it made my stomach hurt the first time I saw this picture...so close)

This is the only picture I got at the Hampton/Campbell side due to the storm interruption but Pops and CC (I mean the Easter Bunny) gave Nolan lots of toys along with a quacking duck that Nolan LOVES!

4 Generations of Campbell Men
We went to my parents house after the coast was clear to celebrate with my family ... and a second meal.

LOOK WHO STOPPED BY!

Not so sure at first...

Ahh, this guy is pretty soft!

Petrified :P

She always was attracted to the weird ones :P

Not sure what to say about this...no caption necessary.

Bath Time, Teething and Snuggling

Just a little update on this dreary/stormy Friday afternoon.

When we first started bathing Nolan he would scream, arch his back and clinch his fists really tight...needless to say he wasn't a fan, however, since we've been using the baby bath spa things have taken a pleasant turn. Needless to say, I wish I could remember the last time I had a bath this relaxing!

Yes, he fell asleep!
