Nolan is 2 Weeks Old !

Nolan was two weeks old yesterday, I took the photos but as you can imagine was a little sidetracked by the cuteness and didn't get around to blogging. So here they are! I cannot believe how much he has changed in just one week. He has really started following our voices and focusing on things around the room. He loves to stare at himself in the mirror (like father like son!) and officially despises my camera, as you'll see below!

Like I said, he HATES my camera, hopefully he will adjust :)

Here are a few more from the week:

Lots of sleeping...well catching up on sleep!

Funny Faces

the evil eye

smiling

sneezing

(note: we arent abusive hence the scratches, Nolan just likes to dig at his face and refuses to wear mits)

First Real Bath
(also not a fan)

First Pair of Pants

Pulling up on Papa Sam's Fingers

Kisses
and me laughing at the Zoolander face you make in reaction

And last but not least...

SOCKS
or what happens to socks that I put on you, it's a good thing you are so hot natured!

Nolan's First Week

Happy One Week Birthday Sweet Boy!

he already hates my camera  :)

Dear Nolan,

Today you are 1 week old! I cannot believe it's been a week already since you finally decided to enter this world. We are still in such awe of you and already can't imagine our lives without you, "what did we do before?". You are currently snoozing on the ottoman while Mommy, Daddy and Beckett are once again getting a little nervous about how tonight will go, you have been keeping us up all night because it seems you may be a little spoiled already and just don't like to be placed in your cradle to sleep but instead would prefer to be held. You are a very strong little boy who is already lifting and turning your head and turning up on your side while you sleep. You found your thumb last night too!! I've taken some pictures (382 to be exact) this past week to show how much you are changing and growing.

Preggo brain at it's finest!

So my due date isn't the 18th ? That's right, I've been walking around with the wrong due date this whole time. Today when I was leaving the doctors office and trying to schedule my next apointment (for the 18th) she informed me that I couldn't make an appointment past my due date and when I questioned her she said my due date was not the 18th but instead the 16th. Oh Well, what's one more "duh" moment..haha. Have no fear the pregnancy ticker has been updated accordingly!

Anyways here's one more belly shot, hopefully the LAST!

39 1/2 Weeks
Nolan's appointment was fine today, I would say it went great but it really just went....Still NO CHANGE and my blood pressure is elevated and accopanied by some nausea so we're watching out for anymore preeclampsia signs. All is perfectly fine for now but this bed and breakfast is about to CLOSE! I go back to the doctor on Monday for an ultrasound (maybe we will get a face shot if we're lucky) and to schedule to be induced if we are still moving along slow. So one way or another it looks like we will see Nolan on Friday at the latest!

Here are some pics of my little Furballs all excited about the snow this past week too, needless to say this snow has initiated their cabin fever and I think we're all going to kill each other if I can't shove them outside soon!! Come on warm weather (Nolan could use a barometric pressure change too)!
