38 Weeks

Here's the very large, uncomfortable belly at 38 weeks, I have managed to keep a belly button though so that's exciting. I was a little freaked out about having an outie.
Last week at the doctor (after all the holiday food) I finally hit the 30 lb mark (aggggh!) luckily I only have 2 weeks to go and then it'll be time to start working that OFF!

I got a big girl camera for Christmas and I am IN LOVE with it so I though I would play with it a little and update you on a few more baby/nursery things that have been updated.
(I haven't had time to read about what all my camera can do so these are all on auto adjust )
This is Nolan's cradle that used to be mine, he will be in this for the first 3 months or so (well that's the plan anyways).

Here are some nursery shots with a few more additions, I am still waiting on 3 more finishing touches before I can unveil the whole shebang but this is where we are right now. I also started playing with some camera settings and that explains the yellowish hue to a few of these (note to self, don't use that setting anymore).

YAY new highchair ! You'd be surprised how much tracking down I had to do to find this sucker!

And here's beautiful big sister Beckett! Either this camera really took a great shot on the portrait setting, or my dog is really photogenic. I'm going to say it was a little of both!

What will Nolan be like!?

Well it's Nesting Season (if you ask Will, it's been a LONG season)! While going through closets and organizing (ie.throwing everything away) I came across some pictures of Will and I as kids and started trying to combine us to get a good mental picture of what Nolan will look/act like. Let's just say, I think he's going to be pretty cute :), and a handful !!!!

Well, it's cuter if you picture it all without the eighties hair!

What month is it again?

Long Time, No Blog-I KNOW !

Things have been a little crazy the past few weeks and I have literally lost all track of time so I apologize (DUCKY!) for being negligent with the belly pictures, I will be better from here on out.

Let's see, where to begin...
At my last doctors appointment everything seemed to be moving right along. Nolan's heart rate is a little on the slow side 128-132 (still normal), wonder who he's going to take after!? Let's just hope he's a little more impatient and wound up when it comes to his due date & delivery!

Doc still says I'm probably going to be seeing her before the 18th which is good except I'm in panic mode...did anyone else start thinking, "wait I just need a little more time" when they got to this point? I feel like we've been going and doing so much that my house has been pushed to the back burner and now I'm SO TIRED and I just don't want to do anything when I get home. Hopefully that second wind will sweep in soon. I  gained 1 pound since my last appointment so here's hoping we keep up the good work and total out in the low 30's, I can live with that!
I am definitely out of room, I catch myself trying to bend to get something and snapping back up real fast when I feel that sharp pain, whoops, sorry Nolan! He is all in my rib cage and at night I now have a pillow for me and a pillow for Nolan, that's the only way to find any comfort at all.

34 Weeks

In other family news, Will got a TATTOO! Let me just start off by saying I did not support this decision but it is the Campbell Crest and he got it with his cousins (they had been talking about this FOREVER). Ben decided they should all get this done while they were in town for his Bachelor party, so the night before they went out downtown to celebrate they all got inked. I then for the next 24 hours had 4 half dressed Campbell's walking around my house sporting some new body art. No worries we kept all the blinds closed and I asked them to avoid opening the doors. There's no telling what my neighbors would have thought if they had knocked on the door that day!

At least it's over and out of their system! My Campbell is NOT ALLOWED to get anymore tattoos, I told him I hadn't signed up for that when we were married so I though me sucking it up for the one was PLENTY generous enough. That being said they did turn out well.
Now we just have to hide it from Nolan until he is 27.

The words mean "forget not" or "never forget" ... I guess these guys don't have to worry about that!

A Shower for Nolan

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Yesterday Nolan was showered with some WONDERFUL gifts from our close friends and family. When I got home and Will started going through everything he said, "Wow, it's going to be impossible for this kid not to be spoiled!" I figured that was the perfect indication as to how much love and support little Nolan has already, he is very fortunate to be born into such wonderful families and friends.

And here is the 32 week belly

Stubborn already...

OK,OK for my friends that have been threatening me for a belly picture here is the HUGE (I think that's what you were looking for) 31 week belly shot!
At least I'm not as wide as the Christmas Tree yet!!

And for an update on Nolan...well he has been quite the little punk this week. As you know I have started my two week doctor appointments and begged for an ultrasound last time but had no luck, she said as long as everything looked good I wasn't going to get another one, BUMMER! I really want one because every ultrasound we have had he refuses to show his face, like I said STUBBORN!

So after a few odd chain of events this past weekend I ended up at Baptist on fetal monitors for a few hours yesterday, no need to panic, we're all good. Nolan just decided to give me a few contractions on Friday night and then stop moving Saturday thru Monday so they just wanted to check and make sure he was still doing okay. He has turned and is "in position" but lets just keep our fingers crossed that he decides to cook for a little while longer.

It did so happen that while I was there they wanted to go ahead and do an ultrasound too (NO, I know what you're thinking, I did not calculate this in order to see him) but as luck would have it the little twerp STILL wouldn't let me see his face! He had no problem showing his little boy parts, the ultrasound tech even laughed and said "well, he wants you to know he's is a boy" because of the way he displayed himself, but no face. He was sucking and his hands are all over his face, I think he's trying to find that thumb. I can already see we're going to have our hands full with this one. As for the movement concern, he's either,  A-run out of room in the 3 inches of torso I have or B-must take after his father with the laid back behavior because we know that didn't come from ME!

As for being able to tell what he looks like, I guess I will have to wait!

Here are a few pics from a photo session we did a few weeks ago as well. I will post more once I get them!

And there you have it, Lot's of belly shots (just for you Ducky & Julee)!
